Movies

The first movie I saw in theaters was Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace (1999) My dad saw Star Wars (1977) in theaters as a little boy and it blew his mind. He wanted to help share that same kind of experience with me and took me to see The Phantom Menace when I was 1 and a half. I don't know if it was because of Jar Jar Binks or in despite him but I have become a massive consumer of films over the years.

Films To Be Buried With

Many know Brett Goldstein as Roy Kent from the TV Series Ted Lasso. But he is even better as the host of the best movie podcast ever: Films To Be Buried With. I decided to create an all-in-one fansite for the podcast where we can see what films come up the most in what categories and allow users to take the FTBBW questionnaires themselves and even create their own question lists so we can all pretend we are cool enough to be on that podcast. I am sure I am not the only movie nerd who has fantasized about Brett's movie heaven, and is salivating for someone to ask them those questions.

I am a full-stack web developer and built this website from scratch to combine my passion for movies and web development. I used the following technologies to complete this project: Astro, Drizzle, SQLite, Litestream, Docker, Vue, Better Auth, Vitest, and Tailwind.
